Greg Spencer Founder
Greg has personally performed over 13,000 inspections, and is both code certified and a member of ASHI (The American Society of Home Inspectors). For most of Greg’s career, he managed a 25 employee firm founded in the 1980s (Building Systems Analysis, Inc.). In 2002, the firm was sold to the publicly traded Land America. In the early 1990s, Greg Spencer served on the ASHI National Board of Directors as President of the Southeast Chapter.

Roland LeClaire Inspector
Roland LeClaire brings an extensive building background to his inspection work, having either personally performed or supervised all phases of construction. Roland has been associated with Building Knowledge for the past three years, and has received rigorous personal training by Greg Spencer. As an associate member of The American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI), he is involved in on-going continuing education. With a keen eye for detail, Roland masters the qualities of thoroughness and personality. He also carries a lockbox key for access to secured properties, and does not mind working on weekends or evenings.
Construction Experience
We love designing and constructing buildings, and have a long history of successfully renovating properties in Atlanta’s Virginia Highland, Brookhaven, and East Point neighborhoods. We also have extensive experience with new construction. For the past decade, we have enjoyed developing and managing nightly rental cabins and apartments near Blue Ridge, Georgia.
